Really interesting proposition by ex-Harvard Business School alumni, Grace Choi, the founder of Mink .. that promise to ”3D print” pretty much any colour in the spectrum for face powder & other cosmetic product of your choice when finding the right shade was always a tough thing ….
Asianmacro thinks anything that sells & appeal to women has half the battle for business survival won … as women tends to buy things a lot more than men .. before I am accused of gender bias, many research have shown that!
Speaking of, Asianmacro is revisting Nuskin (NUS US) where from the chart above; it had suffered a catastrophic plunge on news earlier this year of Chinese investigation into its direct selling methods in China. http://www.forbes.com/sites/samanthasharf/2014/04/21/nu-skin-to-resume-business-in-china/ . Nuskin was fined only $500,000 which is a slap on the wrist as at end-March 2014.
Anyway, if there is anything that the Chinese likes better than gambling, it’s schemes like tontine & direct marketing (although some may accuse it of resembling pyramid selling or a ponzi scheme in disguise) where Asianmacro is not here to debate the merits of the business method used. However, Nuskin has a real suite of products which are not too bad & in fact good (*to be unbiased as Asianmacro had tried before and sampled at the urging of Mrs. Asianmacro) and it is worth a punt going long between $72 to $82 (current price) and targeting a 35,% recovery rally to $109-115 level at least. Stop sell cut-loss should be at below March 2014 lows perhaps at $66
